Polyneuropathy is one of the most common disorders of the peripheral nervous system, characterized by diffuse damage to peripheral nerves and the development of sensory, motor, and autonomic dysfunctions. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of modern diagnostic and treatment methods for polyneuropathy accompanied by pain in the lower extremities. A total of 110 patients with various forms of polyneuropathy were examined. The study results confirmed the high diagnostic value of electroneuromyography and laboratory examination methods, as well as the effectiveness of comprehensive treatment using both pathogenetic and symptomatic therapies.
