Cervical cancer is a serious public health problem and one of the most common cancers among women worldwide. Early diagnosis and prevention play a crucial role in reducing the risk of its development. The primary etiologic factor for this disease is the human papillomavirus (HPV), and high-risk types lead to malignant transformation. This research presents an in-depth analysis of the preventive efficacy and clinical and epidemiological significance of the HPV vaccine. The analysis demonstrated that vaccination is highly effective in preventing cervical cancer, especially when administered at an early age, providing maximum protection. It was also shown that widespread implementation of vaccination programs in developed countries has significantly reduced the incidence of the disease. This article provides a scientifically based discussion of the benefits, practical challenges, and prospects of vaccination.
