The article provides an in-depth analysis of the modern concepts of Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis with a focus on its development and progression mechanisms. Key pathogenic components are examined, including the amyloid-tau cascade, neuroinflammation, oxidative stress, and vascular-metabolic factors. The study substantiates the relevance of an integrative pathogenic model that combines neurodegenerative and systemic mechanisms. Such an approach is considered essential for improving early diagnosis, prevention, and the development of comprehensive therapeutic strategies for Alzheimer’s disease.
