Among the biopharmaceutical characteristics of modern pharmaceutical products, the “Dissolution” test occupies a pivotal role, as it enables the evaluation of the release of active constituents from a dosage form and the prediction of their in vitro bioavailability. This study presents the results of the development and scientific substantiation of “Dissolution” testing conditions for capsules containing a dry extract of walnut leaves (Juglans regia L.), the formulation and manufacturing technology of which were developed at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. Based on the experimental findings, the optimal in vitro dissolution testing conditions for evaluating the release of biologically active constituents were ascertained as follows: purified water - 500 ml was selected as the dissolution medium; the basket rotation speed was set at - 50 r/pm; the temperature of the dissolution medium was maintained at 37±1°C; and the test duration was - 45 minutes.
