The article discusses the formation of cognitive universal learning actions of primary class students when teaching the Russian language, and also presents the experience of creating a system for the development of cognitive universal educational actions of junior schoolchildren in Russian language lessons in accordance with the requirements of the State Educational Standards of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
