Annotatsiya

This article provides an in-depth comparative analysis of the phonological similarities between Japanese and Korean, focusing on pronunciation. By examining specific lexical examples such as "신문" (sinmun) in Korean and "新聞" (shinbun) in Japanese, along with other pairs, this study explores the phonetic resemblances that underscore the historical and cultural interactions between these two East Asian languages. This analysis highlights the implications of these phonological parallels for linguistic theory and cross-cultural communication.

Japanese and Korean are languages that, despite belonging to different linguistic families—Japonic and Koreanic, respectively—exhibit notable phonological similarities.
