Annotatsiya

In this article, the phonetic features of English and Uzbek languages ​​are studied, and the unique features of the vowel system, consonant structures and language harmony that exist in each of them are highlighted.  The discussion also explores the cultural taboos associated with specific sounds or words in both languages ​​and highlights the importance of understanding and respecting these linguistic nuances for effective communication.  By exploring how phonetic features intersect with social norms and traditions related to taboo language in English and Uzbek contexts, students will gain an understanding of intercultural communication strategies that increase sensitivity and awareness when communicating with speakers of different languages.
