Annotatsiya
This study uses a digital corpus to explore how new words arise and spread in contemporary Uzbek and English online. Data from social media and forums (2020–2025) show that English neologisms often use blending, acronyms, and brand-based verbs, while Uzbek speakers heavily borrow English terms but adapt them with local suffixes. Corpus evidence reveals frequent hybrid verbs and new slang showing how digital talk blends global trends with local grammar. Findings inform lexicography, language policy, and comparative neology.
