Annotatsiya

Glycyrrhetinic acid (GA), a bioactive triterpenoid derived from licorice, has attracted considerable attention due to its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anticancer properties. Recent advances in network pharmacology, molecular biology, and medicinal chemistry have enabled researchers to better understand the complex mechanisms of GA and its derivatives. This review summarizes the major findings from three representative publications and discusses the role of network pharmacology in traditional medicine drug development, the antitumor mechanisms of glycyrrhetinic acid, and the therapeutic potential of GA derivatives in cancer treatment.
