Thi s article analyzes the role of military leaders in thesystem of state governance of the Turkic Khaganate, aswell as their place in the political, military, andadministrative structure, based on scientific sources. Itexamines the activities of representatives of the militaryaristocracy within the governance system, particularlyhighlighting the functions of positions such as yabghu,shad, and tarkhan. The research results demonstrate thatthe system of state governance in the Turkic Khaganatewas closely interconnected with its military structure
