This article is devoted to the topic of digitalization and quality improvement of industrial enterprises, and analyzes the digital transformation processes developing within the framework of the Industry 4.0 concept based on a scientific approach. The article examines in detail the main mechanisms, technologies (IoT, AI, big data) of digitalization and their impact on production efficiency, environmental sustainability and market competitiveness. Empirical examples are presented based on Uzbek and international experience, as well as the difficulties in the digitalization process, ways to overcome them and future prospects are discussed. As a result, the strategic importance of digitalization in ensuring sustainable development for enterprises and issues of adaptability to the Uzbek economy are emphasized
