Annotatsiya
This study is devoted to the clinical and morphological characteristics and prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in pregnant women. An analysis of the prevalence of the major STIs in the Tashkent region from 2020 to 2024 was carried out, including syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomoniasis, ureaplasmosis, human papillomavirus infection, candidiasis, and bacterial vaginosis (gardnerellosis). The obtained data were compared with the current epidemiological situation in the Russian Federation. The study presents the clinical and pathogenetic characteristics of each infection and describes their impact on the course of pregnancy, fetal condition, and birth outcomes. A comparative analysis of STI trends over the past five years was conducted, assessing prevalence rates, epidemiological tendencies, and factors influencing the increase or decrease in morbidity. The results confirm the necessity of a comprehensive approach to STI prevention, including the expansion of screening programs, health education among pregnant women, and improved accessibility of laboratory diagnostics. The study has practical and social significance, aiming to improve women's reproductive health and reduce perinatal morbidity.
