FROM TIKTOK TO TED TALKS: TEACHING PRESENTATION SKILLS IN THE AGE OF SHORT-FORM MEDIA

In the modern educational process of the digital age, the development of students' speech and presentation skills has become a pressing issue. This article analyzes the impact of short-form media such as TikTok, compared with traditional and professional presentation methods such as TED Talks, and analyzes the possibilities of forming effective presentation skills in education by integrating them. The authors show the effectiveness of short videos popular among young people and ways to adapt attention-grabbing strategies to educational goals. Also, methodological approaches are proposed for studying and teaching presentation components such as communication, storytelling, body language, and the use of visual aids..
