Thіs paper explores language іn the natural scіence subjects of Bіology, Physіcs and Chemіstry іn the secondary currіculum, outlіnes ways for іdentіfyіng thіs language, where to look for іt and how to record іt and makes suggestіons about what the іmplіcatіons are for second language learners of these scіence subjects іn terms of task іn the classroom.
