Annotatsiya

Plant-based drinks derived from fruits, vegetables, herbs and other plant materials are increasingly popular beverage options. Many of these drinks tout potential health benefits from their antioxidant content. However, accurately quantifying the total antioxidant activity of complex plant mixtures remains challenging. Current methods have limitations and inconsistencies that hinder direct comparisons between studies. Improved testing protocols could help consumers and researchers better understand antioxidant capacities. This article will examine popular antioxidant assays and propose enhancements to yield more reliable and meaningful measurements of plant-based drink antioxidants.
