In this article, scientific solutions for choosing foreign and local mulberry varieties adapted to the oasis climate for the production of high-quality and abundant cocoons in the conditions of the southern regions of our Republic are studied. The results of scientific research on the identification of valuable economic characteristics of foreign and new local mulberry varieties in the selection of mulberry varieties adapted to Surkhandarya climatic conditions are presented in this article.
