Тhis article is devoted to the analysis of the essential features of the competition as a tool that ensures the ordering of public relations that develop in the process of selecting candidates for appointment to public civil service positions. Вased on the study of the best practices of foreign countries, was developed a proposal for the participation of a qualified psychologist as part of the competition commission to determine the psychological qualities of applicants for admission to the state public service.
