Diplomatic immunity is a fundamental principle of international law that ensures the effective functioning of diplomatic missions. It provides diplomats with certain protections and privileges , allowing them to perform their duties without fear of coercion or interference from the host country. At the same time, diplomatic immunity creates various opportunites  for strengthening international relations , promoting peace, and facilitating cooperation between nations. This article explores the concept of diplomatic immunity , its legal basis, and the opportunities it provides in modern diplomacy.
