This article analyzes the essence, history of development, and the religious-legal and spiritual significance of the science of Hadith, which holds a special place in the Islamic sciences system. Hadiths are the second main source of Islamic Sharia after the Quran, playing a vital role in preserving the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The article highlights the methodology of Hadith science—specifically the criticism of isnad (chain of narration) and matn (content)—and the meticulous efforts of scholars in authenticating reports. Furthermore, it explores the contemporary relevance of Hadith science in preventing extremist ideologies and misinterpretations, and its importance in understanding Islamic values based on objective and scientific principles.
