Annotatsiya

(English). This thesis presents a structural-morphological typification of ore bodies at the Kokpatas gold deposit (Central Kyzylkum, Uzbekistan) based on the Korolyov-Shekhtman (1965) classification. All industrial ore bodies are divided into two groups – cross-cutting (24%) and complex (76%); the latter is subdivided into five types. The principal tectonic controls on mineralisation are identified, a comparative analysis of exploration and production data is conducted, and practical recommendations for improving the exploration methodology are developed.
