This paper analyzes the role of the tourism sector in boosting national and global economies, focusing on its strategic importance in increasing Gross Domestic Product (GDP), ensuring employment, and developing infrastructure. Based on scientific and statistical data, the study highlights that tourism is not only a direct source of income but also possesses a multiplier effect that stimulates other sectors of the economy, such as transport, services, catering, and handicrafts. Additionally, the paper explores the role of the tourism industry in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI), stabilizing foreign exchange inflows, and reducing regional economic disparities. The study concludes with practical recommendations aimed at enhancing the country's economic attractiveness and minimizing the potential negative impacts of tourism, such as inflation and seasonality.
