This scientific article, authored by the researcher, highlights the importance of developing the skills of future specialists to work with new-generation textbooks. The digitalization of the education system, the widespread implementation of innovative pedagogical technologies, and the prioritization of a competency-based approach necessitate the effective use of these new textbooks. The study analyzes the role of new-generation textbooks in forming students' skills in information retrieval, analysis, independent learning, and practical application.
