Effective communication is a crucial skill that plays a pivotal role in academic success, social integration, and overall personal development. The elementary school years are a critical period for the development of communicative competence, encompassing linguistic, sociolinguistic, discourse, and strategic competencies. This literature review explores the role of dialogue in fostering communicative competence among elementary school students, highlighting key research findings and educational implications.
