this article is devoted to the study of the process of digital transformation in the education system. In the field of education, the role of digital technologies in the introduction, improvement of the quality of education, effective organization of educational processes and creation of new opportunities for teachers and students is being studied. The article examines the essence of the digital transformation process, the basic principles and the pros and cons of its application in the education system. The research gathered knowledge about the digital transformation of the educational process, the development of online learning and the future of education.
