This article analyzes the role of women and the challenges they face during the transition to a market economy. The transition to a market economy involves shifting from centralized planning to an economy based on free market mechanisms. Women's participation in economic activities positively impacts overall economic development. The article examines women's roles in the labor market, entrepreneurship, and financial management. It also addresses issues such as gender inequality, limited access to education and training opportunities, and social norms. The article proposes solutions to engage women in economic activities, create new job opportunities, improve the population's well-being, and diversify the economy.
