This article analyzes the pedagogical and psychological importance of teaching musical works to children of preschool age. Music plays an important role in improving the mental state of children, developing creative abilities, concentrating, strengthening memory and enriching their emotional world. The article will talk about the role of music in the process of preschool education, its influence on the musical development of children and pedagogical approaches. Music, not only promotes the emotional and intellectual development of children, but also sets the stage for the formation of social skills. Teachers and educators can achieve the best results for children by fully understanding the importance of music in children's education and incorporating it into their educational practice.
