In the process of training modern specialists, self-study learning occupies an important place. Only the effective use of the opportunities presented in the educational environment contributes to the full implementation of the tasks of self-study learning in professional training. The efficiency of self-study learning depends on how the given process is organized. In the age of popularization of distant education, the organization of self-study learning has its own specifics. The article offers directions for proper organization and improvement of the self-study learning effectiveness.
