Annotatsiya
Echinococcosis continues to be a serious medical problem in many countries of the world, since, being a severe parasitic disease, it is characterized by significant prevalence and the existence of endemic areas. Echinococcosis is a widespread parasitic disease of humans, endemic to the Central Asian republics, including Uzbekistan. For 2017-2022, out of 74 patients treated for pulmonary echinococcosis at the Bukhara Regional Multidisciplinary Medical Center. There were 43 (58.1%) men, 31 (41.9%) women, the age of the patients ranged from 18 to 78 years. The use of Povidone-iodine in the treatment of residual cavities after hydatid echinococcectomy shows its pronounced destructive effect on all types of germinal elements of echinococcus and a relatively harmless effect on the macroorganism. The use of minimally invasive surgical interventions for complicated pulmonary echinococcosis allows one to avoid a wide thoracotomy, reduces the invasiveness of the operation, the amount of blood loss, helps reduce postoperative pain, early activation of patients, thereby reducing the number of early postoperative complications.
