Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA) is a chronic inflammatory joint disease that occurs in children and adolescents under 16 years of age. It is manifested by pain, swelling, and limitation of joint mobility, and may also be accompanied by systemic symptoms such as fever and skin rashes. The exact causes of SUR are unknown, but it is thought to be an autoimmune disease associated with genetic and environmental factors. Diagnosis is based on clinical symptoms, blood tests, and radiographs. Treatment includes non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, corticosteroids, biologics, and physical therapy to improve the child's quality of life and prevent complications.
