This article discusses modern approaches to the primary prevention of rheumatic fever and emphasizes the importance of individual and comprehensive preventive measures in preventing mitral valve damage. Objective: The aim of this article is to study modern approaches to the primary prevention of rheumatic fever and mitral valve damage, to analyze the effectiveness of early detection and treatment methods of streptococcal infection, and to substantiate comprehensive preventive measures aimed at preventing mitral valve defects.
