REDUCING PREGNANCY COMPLICATIONS BY ADMINISTRATION OF ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID TO OBESIVE PREGNANT WOMEN

Obesity is a medical, socio-economic problem in modern medicine, the relevance of which is related to the very wide prevalence of obesity. Despite the continuous improvement of the system of antenatal care and obstetric care, the number of obese pregnant women in economically developed countries is constantly increasing, and therefore the urgency of this problem is of particular importance. Obesity observed in pregnant women is considered as an independent risk factor for the occurrence of severe forms of preeclampsia (gestational hypertension, preeclampsia and eclampsia), which are the most common during pregnancy. The article discusses modern approaches to the management of pregnancy in women diagnosed with obesity. The presented material describes the clinical changes that occur during pregnancy in pregnant women with obesity, their nature and causes of their occurrence. As well as reducing complications such as preeclampsia, placental insufficiency and fetal growth retardation, which are observed and often occur in women diagnosed with obesity, by prescribing acetylsalicylic acid to them.
