Parmonova, Sevara
Annotatsiya
This article examines Nasāyim al-muḥabba, one of the major works in the spiritual and literary legacy of Alisher Navoi, through the lens of literary and religious analysis. The study explores the ideological and artistic foundations of this tazkira by referencing Quranic verses and authentic hadiths. Mystical concepts, biographical narratives of saints, and elements of spiritual philosophy presented in the work are analyzed in close connection with Islamic sources. Nasāyim al-muḥabba is a creative and interpretative rendering of Nafahāt al-uns, the tazkira authored by Navoi’s spiritual mentor, Abdurahman Jami. In composing his work, Navoi frequently draws upon Quranic verses and the sayings (hadiths) of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), at times repeating them to emphasize and deepen the text’s ideological content. The article identifies key factors that shape the spiritual and philosophical worldview expressed in the tazkira, focusing on selected Quranic and hadith references. Additionally, it examines Navoi’s Sufi perspective by tracing the foundational religious and didactic ideas embedded in the work.
