Annotatsiya
The formation of the mentality of peoples is a long-term socio-psychological process, which is based on socio-economic and political changes in society, mutual ethno-cultural ties, and religious affiliation. From the earliest stages of the ethnogenesis of the Uzbek people to its formation as a nation, the autochthonous Sogdian-Khorezmian and ancient Turkic languages, which constituted its main component, at different times absorbed different groups of local and surrounding ethnic groups - the Uzbek people, and later the Uzbek nation. The mentality is formed when an ethnos reaches the level of the nation, and not the level of the people. In the process of its formation, the Uzbek mentality dictates that our people are ethnically diversified, that for all social strata of society there is a development of virtue that protects common aspects and collective interests. Thus, the qualities of tolerance, hospitality, mutual understanding, compassion for the helpless in difficult times, solidarity in the actions of our people are rooted in the need to ensure this collective unity, language and soul, unity of thought.
