Annotatsiya
The article presents the current state of cobalt metallurgy, reserves, cobalt-containing minerals, secondary and intermediate cobalt-containing products, their chemical composition, as well as common modern methods of cobalt extraction. Chemical, granulometric and compositional analyses of the cake are presented in the form of tables and figures. Experimental tests of leaching of cobalt-nickel cakes - an intermediate product formed during the production of cadmium due to local reagents, and the results obtained at the end of the process are also presented. The main factors affecting leaching are temperature, pH of the medium and the duration of leaching, optimal leaching conditions are determined. At present, experimental tests of cementation and oxidative precipitation for the extraction of metals from this metal solution are ongoing.
