Annotatsiya
Scientists of Navoi State Mining and Technological University established the presence of saponite mineral in the composition of dolomite of Vaush deposit, located in Navbahor district of Navoi region. This was confirmed using chemical and modern physico-chemical methods of analysis. Studies of chemical and mineralogical composition of this mineral were carried out, which showed that the content of calcium and magnesium oxide in saponite is 20-23%. The paper also describes the processing of saponite mineral using chloride acid and roasting with the addition of calcium chloride to release magnesium chloride solution and its further conversion into magnesium chlorate.
