Annotatsiya
Changes in the cardiovascular system in patients with RA are signs of an inflammatory process in the extra-articular organs of the disease. However, changes in RA in extra-articular organs and systems are often underestimated or completely ignored against the background of severe joint pain. In 60-65% of patients with RA, ECG reveals myocardial dystrophy, and in some cases - rheumatoid myocarditis, rheumatoid amyloidosis or rheumatoid coronary heart disease. Echocardiography and 24-hour Holter ECG monitoring were performed in 140 patients with RA. Of these, 60 (42.85%) patients were diagnosed with heart rhythm disturbances according to ECG data, and in 86 (61.42%) patients - according to the results of 24-hour Holter ECG monitoring. 24-hour Holter ECG monitoring has been shown to produce slightly different and more accurate results than conventional ECG results.
