Magnetoelastic Deformation of a Truncated Flexible Paraboloid of Rotation in a Magnetic Field

The impact of non-stationary magnetic fields on metal structures causes the appearance of volumetric electrodynamic forces. Foam electrodynamic forces have a particularly significant effect on current-carrying thin-walled elements, plates and shells. This, in turn, requires taking into account nonlinear factors when studying the stress-strain state of current-carrying plates and shells, in particular, taking into account geometric nonlinearity. Consequently, studies of non-stationary problems of deformation of flexible current-carrying plates and shells in a magnetic field based on a nonlinear system of magnetoelasticity equations represent a pressing scientific problem. The work mathematically models the process of magnetoelastic deformation of a truncated flexible paraboloid of rotation under the influence of non-stationary electromagnetic forces and mechanical loads. Numerical results were obtained and electromagnetic effects were analyzed.
