Аннотация
This article investigates the abrasive wear of open-pit excavator bucket teeth under dynamic loading conditions. The effects of contact pressure, friction forces, abrasive particles, and dynamic loads arising during excavation on the wear intensity of bucket teeth are analyzed. The study reveals a non-uniform distribution of wear along characteristic sections of the tooth profile and demonstrates that the highest wear occurs at the cutting edge and in the adjacent contact zone. Based on the experimental data, a second-order regression model describing the variation in wear along the tooth length is developed. The statistical parameters of the model indicate satisfactory agreement with the experimental results. The findings are of practical importance for identifying the most intensively worn areas of bucket teeth, applying localized strengthening and protective coatings, predicting service life, and improving the operational reliability of open-pit excavator working elements.
