Annotatsiya
In this paper, the features of cargo placement and fastening on universal platform wagons using removable multiway fastening devices (hereinafter – MD) are considered. Special attention is paid to the calculation of the strength of the rack brackets, which are used to attach MD to wagons. The strength of the brackets was evaluated using the finite element method (FEM) in the ANSYS Workbench software package for two types of bracket structures – cast and welded. The requirements for the design and operation of the MD are also given, as well as the calculated and permissible loads on the brackets in accordance with regulatory documents in force in the Russian Federation and international communications.
