Annotatsiya
According to international standards for the management and treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, patients with a reduced glomerular filtration rate (GFR) below 60 ml / min / 1.73 m2, albuminuria, or both in the last 3 months, are diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (CKD) [11]. Chronic kidney disease in type 2 diabetes is not only dangerous for the development of end-stage complications of the kidneys, such as dialysis or transplantation, but also causes a high mortality rate from cardiovascular complications compared with patients without chronic kidney disease and type 2 diabetes [7]. The goal of modern diabetology is to reduce albuminuria and prevent the progression of a decrease in GFR.In our article, we will review and summarize information on the safety and efficacy of using a combination of an SGLT-2 inhibitor and an agonist of GLP-1 receptors, as well as the introduction of this combination into the clinical practice of an endocrinologist in the management of patients with diabetes mellitus and chronic kidney disease.
