MATERNAL, OBSTETRIC AND PERINATAL OUTCOMES OF PREGNANCY IN WOMEN WITH UNREPAIRED SEPTAL CONGENITAL HEART DEFECTS
Тоджиева, Нигина
Annotatsiya
The article presents an analysis of current evidence on pregnancy and delivery outcomes in women with unrepaired atrial and ventricular septal defects. Major maternal, obstetric and perinatal complications are considered, including cardiovascular events, preeclampsia, preterm birth and adverse neonatal outcomes. The risk of complications is shown to depend not only on the type of congenital heart defect, but also on its hemodynamic significance, cardiovascular functional status and associated risk factors. The importance of individualized risk assessment, dynamic monitoring, appropriate delivery planning and careful management during the early postpartum period is emphasized.
