THE US EXPERIENCE OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF DEPOSIT OPERATIONS IN COMMERCIAL BANKS

This article examines the experience of developing deposit operations in U.S. commercial banks from both theoretical and practical perspectives. The study analyzes the role of deposits in the resource base of banks, the diversification of deposit № 10-SON OKTA BR, 2025 -YIL 643 products, and the growing importance of deposits attracted through digital platforms. Particular attention is paid to the dynamics of total deposits, the changing structure of insured and uninsured deposits, and the role of brokered deposits as a proxy for digital and third -party channels. The findings indicate that digital platforms enable banks to attract deposits more rapidly and efficiently; however, such deposits tend to be more sensitive to interest rate changes and may increase liquidity risks. Based on the U.S. experience, the article argues that the development of deposit operations through digital innovations should be implemented within a cautious and well -balanced regulatory and risk-management framework.
