Postmodernism and ideological-artistic features of I. Sultan's prose

Isajon Sultan's prose exhibits several postmodernist features, such as intertextuality, which we highlight in our article, a multi-layered text structure, and the concept of the rhizome (a plot type resembling a symbolic labyrinth with a central axis that remains unfixed), along with the "death" of the traditional authorial perspective, manifesting as narrative chaos. However, the author's work diverges from typical postmodernist works in several ways. Notably, it is rooted in strong national traditions, creates metanarratives, and avoids the characteristic postmodernist methods of "play" and "theater."
