Annotatsiya
Purpose: Prevention and treatment of neurological diseases associated with COVID-19. Materials and methods: The study included the Mini-Mintal State Examination (MMSE) test and a series of examinations of patients with cognitive and asthenic disorders in patients with COVID-19. Conclusions: COVID-19 causes various cognitive impairments not only in elderly patients, but also in young patients. Currently, several possible mechanisms of the pathogenic action of a new coronavirus infection on the central and peripheral nervous system have been identified. For the prevention and treatment of neurological diseases associated with COVID-19, Uzbek specialists use vasotropic and neurometabolic drugs (mild and moderate), acetylcholinesterase inhibitors (severe). The appointment of anticoagulant and antiplatelet therapy deserves special attention. In the case of SARS-CoV-2 infection, there is no doubt that antiplatelet therapy should be continued as previously indicated. The use of ASA in patients with COVID-19 is effective not only in terms of preventing thrombotic complications, but also in terms of changing the course of the underlying infectious process.
