MAIN TRENDS IN THE TREATMENT CHRONIC DISLOCATIONS OF RADIAL HEAD IN CHILDREN (LITERATURE REVIEW)

This article presents the main trends in the treatment chronic dislocations of the radial head in children, and also studies the methods of solving this problem by scientists in the world literature. Among the proposed methods: arthrotomy of the elbow joint, open reduction of the radial head, chronic dislocations of the radial head, osteotomy of excision of the ulna is used to reposition the head of the radius, excision of part of the head of the radial bone, even its resection is performed. Methods for plasty of the annular ligament, formation of a flap from the biceps and triceps brachii muscle. Analysis of the literature shows that various authors offer many methods of surgical treatment of chronic dislocations of the radial head, but the question of which method of surgical intervention is most effective for restoring the function of the elbow and wrist joints remains open. Repair of the annular ligament and prevention of recurrent radial head dislocation remain particularly controversial.
