Annotatsiya
The article examines the role of melatonin as an adaptogen and universal synchronizer of biorhythms in the complex therapy of patients with stable angina pectoris. The antioxidant, immunomodulatory, and cardioprotective properties of melatonin, as well as its ability to influence vascular tone, platelet aggregation, and sleep quality, are highlighted. A study was conducted with 60 patients divided into control and experimental groups. Patients in the experimental group received melatonin at a dose of 6 mg daily for 6 weeks in addition to standard therapy. The results showed a significant reduction in the frequency and intensity of angina attacks, improvement in sleep quality and psycho-emotional state in patients receiving melatonin, with no significant changes in coagulation parameters. The study concludes that melatonin is effective in the complex therapy of stable angina pectoris, and further research with larger samples is required.
