Annotatsiya

The review article presents such main problems of atmospheric dustiness as the impact on health, climate and monitoring problems. In addition, some methodological problems of the study of the atmospheric dustiness are touched upon. Since the greatest intensity is observed during a dust storm and within 1-2 days after it, a significant place in the article is given to the meteorological conditions of dust storms. The final part of the article is devoted to phytomelioration, as practically the only measure to reduce the dustiness of the atmosphere.
