The article examines the role of the system approach in the methodology of teaching the Russian language, where within the framework of this discipline the concept of system (consistency) is one of the basic categories and is interpreted as a set of the main components of the educational process that determine the selection of educational material for classes, forms and methods of its presentation in the lesson. Russian Russian Special attention is paid to some of the problems and peculiarities of working on Russian vocabulary in Russian language classes in a foreign-language audience. Within the framework of global integration trends in higher education, there have been changes in all views on the essence of language education and its role in the development of individuality. Views on a foreign language as an academic discipline have also changed. According to scientists, a foreign language is primarily an educational discipline, and it is necessary to develop technologies for teaching a foreign language. Integrative tendencies are increasingly reflected in methodological concepts, and integrative knowledge is generalized knowledge from a set of academic disciplines that have a common conceptual apparatus, form an integral system and have an interdisciplinary structure. The Russian language is a leading component of education and a way to know the world. As a subject and a unique culture, the Russian language provides tools for understanding the world and a diverse experience: knowledge experience, practical, creative activity experience and experience of emotional and value orientations. The Russian language, its high role, sufficient command of it is a condition for self-determination and self-realization. As a communication channel, the Russian language is productive for the individual in any communicative conditions.
