In this article we consider the phenomena of reflection and educational reflection as the basis for teachers’ competence to manage their behavior, as well as the ability to interact with the personality of students and reveal the technological side of the educational process. The effectiveness of a good teacher is a combination of a wealth of knowledge, reflective skills and competencies that are constantly developing and enriched. Particularly important, in our opinion, are those that show respect for others, empathy, and congruence. The accumulated practical experience of teachers is not a sufficient condition for professional development. Only constant reflection, analysis and transformation of their own experiences allowed them to develop their skills.
