In the article, the monologue and dialogue function, the uniqueness of artistic speech types are analyzed on the example of Abdulla Qadiri’s novel «The Scorpion from the Altar». It defines the concepts of internal speech, external speech, parallel speech, observes the form and content, expression and image, ideological and aesthetic attitude in the text.
